Vision: Our
vision is to create an emergency flashlight that handles the most
demanding work conditions. The Falconeye combines uncompromising
functionality with intense light brilliance and stylish design. Equipped
with a microprocessor, it provides a range of totally new functions. The
Falconeye offers professional users truly unique functionality,
availability and quality. The landing lights of the F16 Falcon fighter planes was used to develop Falconeye's light unit. The sealed lamp is equipped with two filaments to prevent bulb burn-out and to prolong the battery lifetime. With its robust design and solid quality, the Falconeye has brought portable lights to new dimension. Security: Uncompromising security has been a priority dring the development of the Falconeye. It gives a warning of three blinks five minutes before the flashlight shuts off, but maintains a full floodlight until it does. The light unit has two filaments to provide enhanced security against surprise burnouts. With normal use the halogen light unit will last for hundreds of hours. The temperature gauges in the flashlight prevents overcharging, reversing and buildup of gasses from the batteries, and they also prevents damage to the batteries when charging below freezing. The light switch has a magnetic transmission that reduces the risk of wear and tear, oxidation and water leaks. Flexible: The Falconeye is equipped with a microprocessor that provides numerous new functions. It prolongs the use time by automatically adjusting from 50 to 20 Watts during longer periods of use. The microprocessor prologs the battery lifetime and the flashligh can be charged, regardless of the power left in the batteries, without reducing the battery capacity. The Falconeye can also be used a portable evacuation light. If the flashlight is kept in the charger with the switch in the mid position, the light will automatically be turn on if there is a power failure. People in the building will easily locate the Falconeye and it can be brought to find the way out. Light &Charger: Assembly: The Falconeye comes with an assembly bracket for wall mounting. The charger connects to 10-39 volt DC. When charging from a wall outlet a 110-220 volt AC adaptor can be delivered. Charging: Always leave the flashlight in the charger when not in use. If the flashlight is not in the charger, the batteries will gradually drain. The flashligh is equipped with a microprocessor that makes sure that the batteries are fully charged. The Falconeye can be left in charger at any time, regardless of any power remaining in the batteries. Temperature gauges in the flashlight prevents frozen batteries from being charged. A light indicator on the charger shows when the batteries are charging. If there is a power failure while charging and the switch in mid position, the flashlight will automatically turn on. Use: The switch has three positions; off, 30 Watt floodlight and 50 Watt spotlight. After approximately 1 hour of use, the flashlight will automatically adjust from 50 to 30 Watts, leaving 30 minutes of additional use. Five minutes before it shuts down, the flashlight will blink three times to warn the user. Warranty: The Falconeye has a one year production warranty. It can only be opened by authorized personnel with the use of special tools. Unauthorized opening of the flashlight renders the warranty unvalid. Technology: Light Unit: 10 cm General Electric Sealed Beam with sealed reflector and light bulb. The light unit has 30W and 50 W halogen socket units. Spotlight is 8.5 5.5 degrees. Floodlight is 9.5 x 8.0 degrees. Batteries: 10 NiCd D-Cell batteries. 12 Volt 5 Ah with 4 NTC temperature gauges. Indicator for battery charge. Internal electronics protects batteries against deep draining and voltage reversing. Charger: Input from 10 to 39 Volt DC. A power supply for 110 0r 220 volt AC can be supplied. Charging of NiCd batteries is recomended in temperature above freezing point in order to preserve batteries. When charging below freezing point, batteries will automatically be heated before charging. Charge time is 2 to 4 hours depending on voltage and temperatuure. Use: Standard operating temperature is -20ºC (-4ºF) to +40ºC (104ºF). Use in lower temperatures will reduces battery capacity. The flashlight is splash water proof. Size: LxBxD 420 x 140 x 130 mm. The flashlight weights 2.7 kg. Switch: Magnetic reed contact Power MOS can be locked in three positions; off, floodlight and spotlight. Chassis: Zytel nylon reinforced with glass poweder. Falconeye can withstand tough environments and handling.
